Build A Strong Career Foundation
Onboarding
From the moment you join our team, we’ll be working to make sure that you have a great start! Before your first day, our team will reach out to align with you on your schedule, your hours, and to answer any critical questions (from team dynamics to the best places for lunch!). We’ll also be blocking your schedule, creating time for you to meet with your teammates, and going through your first-week plan.
Once you’ve officially started, your first day is all about feeling comfortable. We’ll be training you on our systems, technology, compliance, and approach to care and scheduling. Rest assured – there will not be a full case load waiting for you!
Throughout your first four weeks, you’ll be shadowing teammates, practicing documentation, and slowly building up your caseload.
For the first 12-weeks, you’ll have a highly structured onboarding program that provides designated times for you to ask questions, build a relationship with your manager and team, expand your clinical knowledge, and get into a comfortable rhythm.
Mentorship
Strong mentorship is more than having someone to discuss your questions with, it’s an opportunity have open conversations about your clinical skills, concerns, aspirations, and development – while learning from someone who is invested in your success.
We’ve found that structure is key to facilitating a successful mentorship program:
- First 90 Days: You’ll have dedicated weekly meetings with your mentor to review cases, discuss clinical questions, and talk through any concerns.
- 90 Days – 1 Year: You’ll have a structured review of 12 body regions to discuss common conditions, evaluation approaches, and treatment techniques.
- 1 Year +: As Mentor and Mentee, you’ll develop a regular meeting pulse to discuss challenging cases, specialties, goals, and career development and advice.
Our program is self-paced for you and your manager – if you want to take extra time on a specific body region, you can! After (or even during), your general mentorship, you’ll have the ability to participate in our Special Interest Groups. Our Special Interest Groups will give you the chance to learn more about specialty topics – and can provide mentors for clinicians who are looking to grow their knowledge in a certain specialty.

Best-in-Class Continuing Education
We’re committed to developing and providing the best continuing education opportunity in the country. Our approach to continuing education ensures that our entire team has a core orthopedic understanding and is positioned to pursue their areas of passion.
Internal Continuing Education Program:
The foundation of our Continuing Education Program is the Orthopedic Specialty Series (“OSS”). While it serves as a precursor to the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) designation, it’s a fantastic starting point for all PTs. Learn more about the OSS!
Our Orthopedic Specialty Series consists of six modules with didactic and lab-based components, including:
- Upper extremity
- Lower extremity
- Cervical spine
- Lumbar spine
- Advanced gait (lab only)
- Thoracic (elective)
In addition to the Orthopedic Specialty Series, we offer a continuing education and certification series throughout the year:
- Dry Needling Certification – Level 1 and Level 2
- Blood Flow Restriction
- Manual Therapy Techniques
- And more
We also offer monthly, virtual continuing education courses taught by David Nolan (Northeastern University), Terry Pratt (NAIOMPT Fellow), and Kevin Pozzi (Johnson & Wales University). View our full virtual continuing education video library!
External Continuing Education Program:
In addition to our internal Continuing Education Program, we also offer access to external continuing education programs.
Every team member has a $500 stipend to use for external continuing education and can exceed that with approval. This allows team members to begin exploring specialties and further develop their clinical interests.
Group Learning:
In addition to our Internal and External Program, we sponsor Special Interest Groups and Journal Clubs to facilitate exploration and development. By bringing together our team to discuss areas of interest, we all have the opportunity to learn from each other and explore the latest literature.
